컬러가 발생하고 생성하며 진화하여 살아있는  공간이 바로 이 컬러 필드 입니다. 컬러는 자기 주변의 이웃 컬러 값이 나와 유사하거나 같을 경우 살아 남을 수 있습니다.  하루 동안 그림이 살아 움직이며 변화합니다.

텍티컬 미디어(촉각 음악, 인터페이스) 연구를 하는 송은성 작가의 작품으로 진동음악시스템 으로 초기 개발되었습니다. 본 작업은 두번째 버전으로 사용자(관객)의 감각을 자극하여 맞춤형 진동음악을 들려줍니다.

                 
의자의 큐션 안에 진동 스피커가 들어 있어 메뉴얼 테스트 결과로 나온 사용자의 촉자극 정도를 통해 자신 만의 진동음악을 들을 수 있습니다.  본 연구는 일반인 및 청각장애인을 위해 연구 되고 있습니다.

‘색은 생명의 외형이다.’ - 들라크루아

컬러는 더 이상 형태가 만들어 놓은 그림을 마무리하는 도구적인 존재가 아닙니다. 이 그림은 컬러값 자체가 컬러이며 형태이며 이미지입니다. 여러분은 마티에르로서의 색인 컬러(color)가 아니라 작품화된 컬러리스(coloris)를 보고 계십니다.

컬러? 컬러리스?는 자동생성진화컬러필드의 초기 이미지 생성을 위한 랜덤 프로그램입니다.  자신의 정보인자(컬러값)를 반복적으로 불러 들여 다음 이미지를 생성하는 진화 구조를 가지고 있습니다.
